TBF the family and driver are well within their rights to be compensated for their medical costs and loss of income etc.
Any compensation for pain and suffering will also be negotiated at the same time.

There has been no talk about the broken hip or broken tailbone lately. I remember her doing 3 interviews about daughter needing an operation, then all of a sudden she never needed it any more. Mother said she had to see a specialist for daughter, they can take several months to get an appointment, even the hospital ones.
It wouldn't surprise me if a PI was hired to video them. As was stated here the 1st interview mother gave, daughter was moving around on the couch & not in pain from said broken hip & no mention that the mother had a broken tailbone. I would say her medical costs would only be prescriptions.
Uber driver was probably given a replacement car to get around in.
Maybe on pain & suffering from the seatbelt burns.
It seems the daughter was on the mothers lap, so they lose some pain & suffering, as the law was broken.

Nah they were all traumatised .
Maybe not the extent the media were trying to make out .
Another poster was adamant the Compulsory 3rd party was all they were entitled .
I still think some gesture from Ezra could be part of his redemption .
He fcked up and collided with the UBER . I feel for the UBER dude he got crashed into while trying to do his job . How out of pocket is he ?
Heard today in media Ezra used the cocaine socially the day before the traffic incident .
But ,,, was he with Patty and did he drive on that day ?? lol .

Was he with Patty? Patty was in camp with the Kangaroos squad. The Kangaroos played the first game of the Pacific Championship on October 18, the day Mam had the accident.
The story of the accident first broke whilst the Kangaroos were on the field.

That's a lot of incidents on the road. It's not that hard to not get in trouble on the road, it's really not.

07/05/24: Driver use mobile phone handheld/resting on body (4pts, fined $1161)
30/08/23: Exceed speed limit in speed zone by less than 11 km/h (1 pt, fined $309)
01/01/22: Driver not wearing seatbelt properly adjusted/fastened (3pts, fined $413)
28/09/21: Exceed speed limit in speed zone by less than 13km/h (1pt, 8/11/21, $183)
06/04/21: Fail to stop at a red light (3pts $400)
