Not under the influence of said drugs. That's the detail people don't seem to understand the difference this makes. Under the influence = affected capability to drive. In this instance, it's like not blowing a blood alcahol level, but finding trace elements in your blood you've been drinking - albeit with an illegal substance.Driving with drugs in your system down the wrong side of the road and causing a head on crash?
If he was off his head while driving, the charges would have been far worse.
