PLAYER Ezra Mam

How much did Trindall gets fined? I bet if it was anything, it is nowhere near 120k.
Funny you mention Trindall.

Regarding his incident, Buzz said 'you had to feel' for him.

So yeah, him going after Ezra isn't really unexpected.

So yeah, him going after Ezra isn't really unexpected.

That looks bad in that blurb but the context of the article isn't bad.

On Saturday night you had to feel for Cronulla Sharks star Braydon Trindall, sitting at home watching his side so impressively dismantle Melbourne Storm.

The hero for the Sharks was Daniel Atkinson, wearing the jersey that was once Trindall’s before his stupidity behind the wheel of a car two weeks ago when he failed alcohol and drug roadside tests.

This could actually help Trindall in his recovery.

He not only faces the full brunt of the law for driving misdemeanours but an uphill battle to get his No.6 jersey back in the first-grade side.

This is such an important lesson for any young footballer.

The repercussions of making mistakes for an NRL footballer are greater than for the average man in the street.

In rugby league there is always the risk someone else will take your spot and make the most of the opportunity.

Atkinson was outstanding on Saturday night at AAMI Park, showing remarkable composure for someone playing only his third NRL game and without the steadying influence of Nicho Hynes.

He was so calm in landing the field goal near the end.

Do you reckon Buzz will be feeling sorry for Ezra Mam when Ben Hunt has a blinder early in the season?

Lol what do you mean the crash was not related to the drugs. It doesn't matter at all. I dont get the argument. You would have guys smashing drugs constantly and driving if they could just say it didn't make me crash. How do you tell. It's hard and fast. You can't have drugs in your system and cause a crash.

It absolutely should be double the penalty. He caused a car crash on drugs and unlicensed. No matter how long ago he took it.

I dont get why people are up in arms.

On a side note. I loved the political party drop from the Broncos right before Christmas. Excellent PR.
Of course it matters if it is shown they are not related. You claim you can't tell, well seemingly the police can, and they did not charge him with driving under the influence, so that is case closed on that matter.

As for not getting why people are up in arms, the only group of people genuinely "up in arms" (by definition) are the biased and largely brainless who wanted Mam rubbed out for a season and sent to jail. Those of us on here who are complaining a bit aren't up in arms we are just frustrated at the lack of consistency and accountability of the process, of which this current Mam situation is merely highlighting.

You might choose to think the Mam situation is fair and consistent and doesn't highlight the lack of consistency. Fine, you are welcome to your view. But I don't think anyone can argue that there isn't a lack of consistency and accountability, and therefore equity, in the process regardless.

Incredibly biased and inconsistent rants from journos (example Buzz) fuel the fire of our frustration.

I was just thinking the same thing and yes I can easily see Ben Hunt has saved the Broncos season articles if Mam is playing Cup and Hunt is doing well.

Badel will also write the Scanlan saves Broncos' season, we take you inside the recruitment of Hunt.
