PLAYER Ezra Mam

Someone sent photos to the daily Mail of Ezra posing next to his new electric bike that could be illegal if modified.
Given every local kid has these bikes - giggling teenage girls in bikinis barefoot doubling with a phone in one hand and pimply boys popping wheelies in the main street, I don't think Ezra is going to jail for this.

Ahh yes but he is going to social media jail.

Ezra about to get all elec bikes made illegal because of this photo... either that or whichever company gave him the bike about to be shutdown for making and distributing these illegal bikes

Nah, it's a load of shit. They have limiters you can toggle to comply with various state laws and road usage. NSW's wattage limit is twice QLD's for example. The bike he bought sounds comparatively gutless to what the kids ride here. You can ramp them up to full off-road.

Basically, plausible deniability.

So what's the story here then?

Has it been completely fabricated? Will they be held to any accountability if so?

Talking potential speeds .
That the bike has been governed to meet regs but is still illegal .

Not relevant ?
No. Read the legislation. Technically, if you switch the governor to a road-illegal setting you might be breaking the law, but they'd have to prove it.

Speaking of traffic offences; got this in the mail yesterday. First speeding ticket in 15 years. Would knock out a P Plate in one hit.

Had no idea I sped. Apparently I was doing 80 in a 60 zone, which is otherwise 100. Must've been the short patch of roadworks. 5pm on a Sunday. No one there.

No point in arguing. But fucking *****.

I'm really dissapointed that no one has just read the headlines of today's Ezra story without reading the detail then jumped to conclusions and came in here calling for us to SACK HIM!

This shit annoys me - surely if you're a clean skin for a decade or more they can give you a warning at least once.

Nope. There's been one of those big readouts that tells you your speed there for at least a year. Nothing ever seems to be getting done. You know what it's like on the roads here. I think they just turned on the fixed camera where you're coming down from 100 to 60. I guess I didn't hit the brakes hard enough.
