PLAYER Ezra Mam

So am I reading this right - Ezra has bought a bike that might be able to be made illegal but hasn't actually been made illegal and so is therefore still legal?

As in, you could buy a car that you might be able to turn into a tank but haven't actually turned into a tank and so therefore its still just a car and still legal?

The article is correct, but you are able to ride this bike without breaking the law.

But why is there an article if he hasn't done anything wrong?

What could stop them from saying Ezra might flat out murder someone... because he's got a knife in his house.

It's absolute clickbait garbage, but will be picked up and run with by the Sydney circlejerk for zero ramifications.

Yep, pretty much. Bike is completely legal but if he decided to modify it a certain way, it's illegal. Nothing burger doesn't even come close.

There is absolutely no way you can tell anything about that bike just from a photo. **** me the media blows sometimes.

The article is correct, but "allegedly" is weasel wording. I actually phoned and confirmed these bikes - despite the power rating - could be set to be legal on the road. The Mail either didn't bother doing that or it was a better story to leave the innuendo there.

It's a British tabloid. The have massive legal teams, so they don't tend to lie on purpose. They rely on you reading something that isn't there.

You read the Daily Mail for celebrity drama. Or you don't. I don't.

Look, this is straight up a far better analogy than whatever the heck my tank one was.

Looking at that bike frightens me like there's tomorrow. Think of the potential that this might be made illegal.
I am so jealous of the kids riding these things and want one more than anything in the world, but they're not quite suitable for where I live. I would definitely switch it to road illegal mode, and I would definitely get into strife. But still.

I cannot fathom how they're legal even in legal mode. They are straight out motorbikes ridden by kids on the road, and worse, up the footpaths at full belt. They're a menace, but fucking hell they look fun.

The scooters and the bikes fly. I followed a scooter last week and I thought this thing was going quick so I sped up to 65kph and that thing was pulling away. The guy had a helmet but was wearing a singlet and boardies. If he came off he would be going for a skin graft or worse, dumb as ****, ducking between oncoming traffic as well to get to the sidewalk.

Just saw a guy in Nambour riding an electric skateboard sitting in a milk crate strapped to it with occy straps doing at least 60 KMH on a public road .
Later he came along the walking / bike path at similar speeds .
