After last week's phenomenal effort I thought we needed a thread to celebrate and discuss some of the best Broncos tries in history and some of our favourites.
Don't have a video but I remember running every step with Denan Kemp against the eels to win the game. My gf was in shock as I ran around the living room not being able to speak properly cause I was in shock haha

Poor Denan never wanted to leave Brisbane but was forced on, if he stayed initially and didn't have distractions like moving clubs etc I reckon he would have been a QLD winger for sure, wasted talent.
Prelim Final 2006 - Shaun Berrigan
The try that kept Brisbane alive. At 20-6, all I wanted Brisbane to do was score an amazing try and I didn't have to wait too long. Hodges beats about 4 defenders, finds Berro who just keeps the legs pumping before he basically slides on his neck to plant the ball over. Loved it and it was worth way more than six points, it swung the momentum of the game.
Round 2 2009 - Israel Folau.
Everybody wondered when they'd see the Broncos utilise Folau's ability in the air but nobody knew how picture-esque it would look. As per usual, the Storm were defending their line valiantly, it didn't look like cracking until the Broncos put through a cross-field kick that Folau plucked and placed as easy as you'd like. And that's why Izzy was so good. Most players would have struggled to even get a hand on it, Folau just made it look so easy.
Round 20 2009 - Dale Copley
My favourite consolation try of all time. Brisbane had 34 put on them yet I came away from this game really happy because Hodges came up with one of the slickest dummy half plays I've ever seen. The crazy this is, the move worked 5 years later!
Round 1 2010 - Denan Kemp
This thread is going to be another Kemp love-in, so when in Rome! This was one of my favourites because I felt like it summarized 2010 really well. Young Matty Gillett gets a ball out to Lockyer, who puts Folau on the outside who finds Kemp who just tears down the sideline and scores. As he celebrates he grabs his emblem to remind everyone that this is his home. In a long season, this was an easy highlight.
Round 3 2011 - Justin Hodges
A lot of conjecture about how Hodges would go after he missed the entire 2010 season and here he was pushing off Greg Bird to score the match winner in a tense local derby against the Titans.
Ok, I can't resist. We've had a Kemp-fest so I'll start a Gillett-fest. Some very good team tries in this. And Gillett sure can run some nice lines when there's a play on. Should be more of it.
