1 point is better than none but really should have won that game.
 
Wow, that was the biggest over act I've seen since watching the Broncs game with the Warriors but it worked - yellow card.

If the Brisbane Olympic games committee and the city high headed ones are wanting any tips for 2032 games they need only clock this picture of the BBC studios for the World Cup.

We need to be building state of the art media centres along Kangaroo point for the foreign press and making sure we've paid our electricity bill in full to ensure our city is lit up like this.

I think Brisbane's CBD looks so much nicer too.
 
Tough for Ecuador now. They are going to need to get something from the Germany game.

Yeah big result in that group. Whilst things could change I do think Ivory Coast has a better team than Ecuador. As you said will be very tough now to turn the tide in that group. Will need points against Germany to have a hope of getting through as 3rd in the group.
 
CIV definitely looked more lethal in front of goal than Ecuador.
 
Then there was the Turkish captain before the game saying they would dominate Australia.

I guess it gave us extra motivation for this one. Funny how things work out.

Ecuador's strength is absolutely in defence, they'll make it tough for teams to score. It's where majority of their better players are. They may be able to nick a 1-0 off Germany or something, but this result today definitely hurts them as Curacao are basically a free 3 points for all of them.

Considering 4 points is probably enough to go through now with the top 2 of each and the next best 8, they just need to win comfortably against curacao and nick a draw against germany. If they're playing them last and Germany have already qualified, might be easier as you'd imagine teams will rotate with progress secured.

Yeah, good point on if Germany are possibly using a weakened team by that point. Putting a score on Curacao would put them in prime spot to be a 3rd place team that goes through.
