Paps is one of the few good guys from the Storm, no player deserves it.

But as a club, **** yes the Storm deserve it. Someone mentioned karma. Bellamy has been risking horrific player injuries for the last 15 years with all of their bullshit. Not even just the chicken wings and the rolling pins, but I'm talking about the grapples where they are twisting necks simply to make the tackled player effectively helpless. I can't think of a more detestable attitude to a sport where that sort of action is not just tolerated, but encouraged and specifically coached.

Someone also mentioned the Storm tacklers deliberately getting their legs tangled in order to slow down the rucks, and while I'm not suggesting this was the case here (it was just a horrible accident), it is somewhat poetic that the seemingly deliberate tactic was always going to be risking a serious leg injury, to the opposition or even their own players. The Storm have ended up with their own player suffering a potentially career-ending injury and I feel no pity for them as a team, I feel like this is in some way justice for everything that Bellamy has risked on these players, his own and the comp as a whole.

Nailed it. Melbourne have spent the last 20 years inventing every new method possible to put players out for weeks. Twisting ankles, chicken wings, just general grubbiness that they try and justify with a "ruthless winner take all" attitude that sadly the media have gobbled up the entire time.

My sympathy is with Papa, not Melbourne.

I give you one Jerome Luia
Ill Allow It GIF

Respect your right to have that opinion, but in the context of how this injury occurred, I’m calling it as a pretty ordinary take.

lol at your LU comment regarding Mckinnon.
Storm can get fucked.

I can't believe it. I honestly can't.

The Storm have had a strangle hold on us for years. EVERY game we play against them, if we're all honest deep down we're expecting a loss no matter how great we're going throughout the season..

Tonight. 26-0. We completely dominated them. They played like we used to against the Storm. We really rattled them and this is one of our best victories in YEARS.

Proud to be a Bronco!!!!!!!
