what does Brisbane's 40-10 win over the warriors mean ? nothing

we'd have been better off tanking that game and getting on the other side of the draw

that's one of the massive flaws in this finals system - the 4v5 and 3v6 week one games mean nothing most of the time

Agreed, our pack is sooooooo awesome right now, macguire in my opinion is the form prop in the comp, he is playing massive minutes and is making so much go forward and awesome defence, Alex Glenn must be first player picked for the kiwis, if the selectors have half a clue parker should be lock for the kangaroos, and sammy will come out guns blazing. Yeh I'll be at the game definitely. I would not right us off if Lockyer doesn't play, it may even bring some complacency to Manly. I was thinking maybe Griffin and the Broncos are playing down the Lockyer injury so the rest of the team isn't getting written off in the media all week, and to avoid massive scrutiny from reporters. It's still going to be the main story of the week and hopefully doesn't play with the young guys heads hearing they are no chance without Darren

I was thinking that this is one of the hardest finals campaigns ever, I don't think 2006 was anywhere near as hard and I guess now it makes sense, to win we need to beat the 08/09/10 premiers.

My biggest fear is not our skill but if we have the energy and drive to do it. If we play our top game IMO we will beat both Manly and Melbourne and take out the premiership.

Jesus....i just woke up from a fairytale evening where i cried for the first time in years (the feeling at the game was un####ingbelievable!).

I think after that performance and the weeks before that we can win the big games (whether we run away with it or have to grind it out). After lasts nights game i think we will roll on to beat Manly and hit the GF with guns blazing!
