Factoids of note

Broncos and manly have met 3 times in finals. Broncos have won all 3 (1990, 1993, 1994)

Broncos and manly have played at SFS 3 times. Broncos won all 3 (same games as above).
That's very surprising, we haven't played Manly in a finals game in 17 years??? Wow.

Yep. Yet we've played Storm 7 times in last 13 years.

What a joke NRL scheduling is. Common sense dictates the team that played on Friday this week should play on Friday next week, the same for the team that played on Saturday. Yet we find ourselves in a situation where we'll only get 6 days prep, whilst the Warriors will get 8.

Sean Lawson just said on Fox Sports that Locks had minor surgery this morning to clean the area up, no word about what is actually wrong though but all reports say he will play. Heard a few others say he can play with a facial fracture as there is such a small chance of further damage so he will be in plenty of pain but should be there! Also Gus said on WWOS he can't see Manly beating us on Friday, glad we are finally getting a bit of respect down South!

Minor surgery? Interesting, hopefully that's a good sign that he'll be fine to play this week. If he's in pain on game day then he will probably be given a pain killing injection before the game.

IN LOCKY WE TRUST!

Gus has been on the Broncos wagon for a while now and is one of a few that can admit we are awesome unlike most others who simply want to write us off. +respect for Gus.

Press conference at 12.30 today. I reckon if he is out we will know today.

Geeze. The fact they're holding a press conference is not good. Nooooooooooooo :(

I'm nervous. Had this bad feeling tonight will be the last time we see Locky play... At all.

The culprit is one of us..

They could be holding a press conference simply because it's such a huge issue that they feel it's the best way to get the news out.

I'm going to stay optimistic for good news.

OK, for some weird reason, I haven't washed my Broncos jersey since I forgot when (I'm a girl and girls don't smell). But then I've been thinking, should I wash it? It's given us good luck and I don't want to ruin it!
I don't care how much you reek, DO NOT WASH IT!

We're a massive chance if we can keep enough gas in the tank for the last quarter of the game. Our attack really needs to click though this week - we struggled to break down Manly after half time the last time we played them.

Can't wait for this game - first visit to the football stadium!

This week can't go quick enough. Still can't understand how the Warriors get an 8 day backup and we get a 6 day. Anyway we can still rip Manly to shreds.

Obviously all eyes on Locky.

Be interesting to see who drops off to make way for Thaiday. The obvious answer would probably be Hala, but I thought he showed some good signs last night so it might just be Anderson. However, Anderson brings a bit more experience and in particular finals experience having been there for Melbourne, so I'd say Hala will be the travelling 18th man.

Agree with Rocky, we have the forward pack to beat Manly. And the best thing is that IMO they still have a bit of improvement in them. McGuire is at his best form but Hannant could lift his game a bit. Not saying Hannant has been bad, he has been solid, but definately not performing at his peak. I think if Hannant and McGuire both show their best form we should win.

yeah, has to be hala to drop off. unfortunate for him but thats the way it is.

I don't think Darren will play, I don't think he should either. He has nothing left to prove.
