The scoreline is a really fair reflection of the contest. Very even game, but the Roosters with their noses just out infront.
Both teams have been guilty of making dumb errors, but I get the feeling that the Roosters are easier to fix. Melbourne cannot bring Cooper Cronk into the game at the moment and it's forcing Smith to dummy and go left. If they're going to win, they may need to mix things up and bring Will Chambers in-field and catch the Roosters off-guard. As demonstrated by that Jackson Hastings read of Smith's grubber, they've done their homework on Melbourne and throwing something a little different to get momentum and some second phase is really your only option.
Speaking of Hastings, how much are the Roosters paying him? Whatever it is, it isn't enough.
