Honestly, I don't see any of the hype around Hastings. Neat kick for SKD but that's about the only thing of value I've ever seen him contribute. Doesn't seem to have anything in his arsenal except for bomb to the corner.

Not only did they sign Jayden Nikorima, they also signed Ryan Matterson from Parramatta Eels. Matterson was the best five eighth in the NYC last year and hasn't received a look in because the Eels have signed Foran.
Roosters hit straight back from the kick-off.
Short kick offs are damn near impossible to defend against certain teams.

20 something year old halfback who's been thrusted straight into the finals intensity and he doesn't look out of place at all.
Has thrown some great passes, put in some smart kicks and his defensive reads have been very strong.
A player like him would cost most clubs $200-300K, especially since he was poached after he made a name for himself.

I would have been cheering for the Dragons, because **** the Bulldogs...but now I'm all Bulldogs. Dragons have no chance of beating Roosters, and Bulldogs can at least drain them.

It probably took Finucane half the season to find his footing at Melbourne. However since part-way through the season, he's really stepped up and become the player most expected him to become.
He's been a huge addition tonight. If you want to talk about underrated packs, Melbourne take the cake.
Huge win for Melbourne. To win the second half minus Koroibete is a huge achievement from them and they deserve to be applauded.
The finals just got really interesting. I think Melbourne have just booked themselves a grand final spot.
