First coach sacked

Honestly don't see AOB getting sacked this year unless they completely shit the bed and run bottom four. Still fairly new, roster being overhauled and as you alluded to, not a lot of obvious alternatives on the market as it stands.

If they're lower/mid table by mid-season next year, that's a very different story.

This is AOB 5th year in charge. Hardly new at all. He has basically stamped his own roster now with the time he has had. The knights need a good season or questions will be asked considering his time frame at the club.

I think AOB is still at risk... knights have gone all in on Brown and they will want to show Ponga that they can compete.

If they can find a coach that will do a better job than AOB I think they will jump at it.

I would say Ponga would have a big say on the coach as well... to keep KP in Newcastle they might basically make him a kingmaker down there.... although I still think he would up and leave them for rorters

He wont leave for the Roosters. You think Pollitis is going to put up with Ponga and his management dictating the club. Absolutely fucking no. He takes shit from no player. The Roosters have always been a club that doesn't cave to player power or managers either.

My call for the Cowboys job if Payton is sacked would be Brad Arthurs. He would fit the mold they are trying to build and is a very defensive minded coach which is what the cowboys are really lacking these days and have for a number of years. I don't think the cowboys would consider Kev considering their marquee half only landed at that club whilst Kev was coaching the broncos and it wasn't a nice split either. I couldn't see the cowboys willing to potentially upset Dearden who they are banking their entire future on.

AOB is the smokey, given I really don't know how he is still there in the first place. This is a coach who I think has proven he can't get the job done. They haven't sacked him yet so who knows what it will take.

The Knights have won two straight games ... They're probably working on a long term extension for AOB as we speak
