Your point is valid BUT there are MANY examples of teams winning without taking 20 wickets, be it declarations or injuries involved.

Cummins will possibly be the best pace bowler Australia has ever had. Hazlewood, Starc, Pattinson, Meredith, Tremain, Richardson, Neser, Sayers, Green, Steketee, Copeland, Conway, Winter, Bird - That has to be all time depth!

Pakistan showed a good first session and then they Pakistan'd it up. Abbar is the most disappointing- he calls constantly for not just averaging 50 in ODI and 20/20 and seems to think he is potentially the equal of Smith, Kohli and Williamson but then has that slash when his team had lost 3/4.

Thought Australia bowled well in the first session but after lunch they were just a bit fuller and Pakistan knicked them.

Very good team bowling, no big hauls just everyone chips in and gets their two or three.

Best thing to happen to Australia was not having to bat last night, two or three overs last night could have been terrible and Burns and Warner were clapping out there and laughing once the time had lapsed.

Bowlers looked after them too bowling wide so they didn't take a wicket.

We have won one Test series in the last two years!

I didn't express it that clearly perhaps but I was saying that the bowlers have delivered a great result as a unit in my opinion. Granted it hasn't translated to a great result in the win column enough, but we just aren't scoring enough runs right now to help them out.

I'd stop well short of calling them the best of all time, but they are a pretty strong bowling unit overall and they do possess some great bowling depth. We may in fact have the best bowling depth of any Test side right now.

Our batting depth on the other hand...
