To replace Folau on the wing for the broncos I would pick Hoffman. Let the boy get some more first grade experience which will help him next year when he most likely replaces Hunt at fullback.

Hoffman would be better off playing at fullback in QLD cup.

YowYeh, Hewitt or Copley on the wing.

As for The Maroons, Tonga played well but he's not a winger. Either start Hunt there or fly Adam mogg back.

They'll probably go with Copley, given he played wing for Falou against the Eels.

As for QLD, Sailor could be an option, but they might move Boyd to Falou's side and put Tonga outside Inglis.

Injuries have rocked us heavily since 06. Argh. I'm scared when superstars are taken off the field from injury. One of the major negatives of the salary cap in my opinion is once teams lose marquee players the competition gets even worse. When three or four super stars are taken away from the comp, the standard drops.

Hoffman is a fullback and maybe a winger a centre I think not he wouldn't be able to handle the defence..

Only a bad thing if we can't keep form up IMO. Keeping something like this in place can do the job:

1. Hunt
2. Yow Yeh
3. Michaels
4. Hodges
5. Winterstein

The one positive is that we'll have a fit and VERY fresh Folau returning a few weeks out from the finals.

Disagree personally. I think he's new to the club and still adjusting. Familiarity would only have gained positives for the end of the year and more importantly, for next season. I think it's a significant blow without being the end of the world.

If Hodges knee gives us trouble at the end of the year though - big trouble. Will NOT win the GF without him. You heard it from me first.
