I love Hodges, and he's one of our most important players during the regular season...

But with the exception of 2006, he has always more or less choked during the finals.

Only a bad thing if we can't keep form up IMO. Keeping something like this in place can do the job:

1. Hunt
2. Yow Yeh
3. Michaels
4. Hodges
5. Winterstein

The one positive is that we'll have a fit and VERY fresh Folau returning a few weeks out from the finals.

Yow Yeh? He has been terrible in D....Rather Glenn there I think.

I don't see why it's a big call. Seriously we are a much better team with him there. I don't think it's a coincidence our worst form this year has been when he hasn't been playing and our most impressive form has been with him in the team. With Carroll, Lockyer, Parker and Hodges forming a combination on the right side along with Folau I think the Broncos can win the premiership. If Taylor keeps form up(hopefully) along with clinton once Kenny is back I have absolutely no doubts that we have the talent to win the comp as long as we don't have key injuries and have the right attitude.

Robbing Peter to pay Paul. Glenn is excellent in the backrow and off the bench, not so much in centre and he's not a winger.

YowYeh might have issues in defence but he's a better choice than Glenn on the wing.

Big call but I still think that is the case. Possibly more than ever now since we are a very young team...

Whoever said about choking in the finals -
Memory is hazy but he had one final game in 05 I think. Who cares about 05 anyway. We were dead. (pretty sure he was one of our better ones too)
06 - ...
07 - Was our best in the 50-0 against the storm.
08 - The only shocker but some crucial mistakes from our veterans this game and well, we lost this more than anything and we all know why.

Unless you are talking about his record at the roosters - but who cares, he was a different player back then.

while Folau is out i would like to see either Beale, Copley or Hewitt given a shot on the wing. I'm not sure if Hoffman could play wing.

I think Copley has real potential. He is a great mover and looks like he could develop into a player with genuine attacking ability.
I would look at using him on occasions on the wing.
Hoffman is another talent, but I'm unsure of how he handles the high ball. I'm sure he would be targetted and I don't know if he needs it at the moment in what is a high pressure month or two.
The value of Hunt to the Broncos is immeasurable. Hopefully our astute management watch our games closely.

Yow Yeh would grow in confidence playing outside Hodges, actually whoever comes in has to play outside Hodges (ridiculous to move them to the other side of the field outside Michaels) cos they will really benefit playing alongside Justin, moreso than playing alongside Izzy! It's a great opportunity for one of the young guns, I just hope they give them a chance and leave GLenn to do what he does best.
