Whats supposed to happen now? Everytime you see someone who looks drunk, ask if they have a disability before laughing about how sloshed they are? As Ning said before everyone seems so money driven these days. It sickens me.

Now I'm not being insensitive here, I have a brother with down syndrome, and I would get very offended if someone knowingly took the piss at his expense. However with my brother you can see physically that he is mentally handicapped, with the bloke on the footy show you couldn't. I think 99% of the "poor buggers" you speak of were if they were asked if they wanted to be on the show they would say yes. People laugh at people saying and doing dumb things everyday of the week why should channel 9 or the footy show be punished for something that happens in everyday life let alone all over TV. This is clearly unlucky for Fatty who clearly had no intention to offend, if anything I feel bad for him, because over sensitive civil lib turds will keep reminding us all of this when it was an accident, no one will remember the so and so that was allegedly humiliated. If they sue it shows that his family have only money as an interest because it would be dragging their son through the mud further, if they want to do the best thing for their son they should let it go so we all forget about it by tomorrow like we already should have. rant/

Paul Vautin's brother dies after illness

Geoffrey Vautin died following a short illness at 12.30am this morning.

The older brother of Queensland Origin great "Fatty" Vautin, Geoffrey had recently been brought into the news after Vautin unwittingly accused a hotel bouncer suffering benign epilepsy of being "blind drunk" during a segment on The Footy Show.

Not wanting to pick on your spelling forward, but I hope you meant "Defamation" and not 'deform'ation.

The pub boss didn't even know the guy had a disability, then came out and said had I known that I wouldn't have had him working, then had to backtrack when he realised what he'd said and say we'll find another role for him.

Yes the world is all money hungry looking to sue to make a quick buck, just like the USA but we are 5 to 10 years behind in litigation practices but catching up fast unfortunately.
