I hope it was Oscar that called that pit and not the team. They've niced Lando big time otherwise, and Oscars been stuck in a pack with dirty air and burning through his tyres.

If Max and Lando are 1 stopping, Oscar is screwed barring a lucky SC
 
I still think it's BS redbull are allowed 2 teams essentially. It's a ridiculous advantage that isn't spoken about enough.
 
Things could not be going better for Max and Oscar has had two absolutely atrocious pit stops. Meanwhile Norris gets a 2.1 second one.
 
Great drive in the end by Oscar to get third. Almost everything that could go wrong did. Red Bull and Williams looking stronger - good stuff.

Ultimately, it’s a shame McLaren screwed up Piastri’s race, he would have done more than Norris could.
 
Well that went to shit, but to be fair Oscar left it wide open for Max at the start there which ultimately decided the winner of the race.

Well earned win for Max there.

Agreed and to be honest, I think Max would have won anyway, his car seemed comfortably quicker all race.

Next week, qualifying will be everything. Passing is legitimately impossible in Monaco.

The pace was about the same, similar cars on similar tyres with dirty air would have protected the winner regardless imo, it was a T1 race to decide the winner here, like Saudi Arabia.
 
This should be interesting with the mandatory 2 stops and tyre types.

Monaco - always looks pretty, usually turns out completely boring.
 
Yeah not sure the pit changes made that any better. That stuff with Williams ended up being pretty dangerous and whilst you can appreciate the team play, way too much of cars intentionally driving slow.

They have to change something, so hopefully they keep trying. Just not sure this change is it.

Agreed.

The track itself is the issue but there isn’t anything they can do to change it. It’s an iconic race but it’s pointless, qualifying is the race.
