Jack Doohan will debut in the final race of the season for Alpine.

This Max and George drama getting spicy. DTS next season going to interesting.

"Yep, that's the move of a world champion". - Oscar.

Seems a good chunk of the drivers are getting sick of Max's shit.

...and now Oscar gets a 10 sec penalty as well for causing a collision at the back of the pack.

Rough start for our Aussie

Good to hear Oscar talking about challenging for the drivers' championship next year. He's primed. Only the fourth driver in history to complete every lap in a season. The other three - Schumacher, Hamilton and Verstappen. Pretty decent company to be in.

But yeah Verstappen really didn't need to do that but he will keep doing it until he gets actual penalties that matter.

Max and Lawson next year - RBR are going to **** shit up!

Yeah, I'm not that impressed with Lawson, I think Tsunoda is a bit unlucky to be honest. I thought Lawson started well but so did Riccardo at Toro Rosso and Colapinto at Williams and they have both fallen away, Lawson seems to have done the same. Lawson also makes a lot of excuses.

I think the inter-team rivalry comradery between Oscar and Lando will be interesting to watch. I think Oscar is the better driver but also being the junior driver, he is up against it to get the benefits Lando does. Oscar should hit the ground running though after some massive improvement this year. However he also fell away a bit as the season went on, so he needs to improve on that.

And congrats to Doohan for his first race too, a very nothing race but good to get one done and finish. That car looks promising for next year.

Yeah, I think RBR will swap Lawson and Yuki out if he doesn't come along as they hope. Let's see what sort of car they can produce next year and then '26.
Overall, I don't think there is all that much between Lando and Oscar other than experience so it will be interesting to see how McLaren sees them over the next year to two - will Oscar have to go elsewhere to get a first seat?

I think it was good that Oscar didn't surrender to Max in that corner though, from memory he is the only one I have seen soo far that hasn't done so when Max has done similar in the past and I'm sure it will be in Max's mind next time he thinks of doing that move.

Perez finally officially sacked. He definitely cannot complain about that, got way more chances than he earned and just went further and further backward.

If Lawson gets the seat, it will be interesting to watch because I just haven't been that impressed with him. He will likely pull out a good race here and there but that car looks to be on a downward trajectory and I'm not sure he's the guy you want to be banking on.

Redbull are weird, the obvious choice was Yuki but Marco never does things conventually as he really likes Liam, I think he will have a very tough go being up against max without even a full season under his wing, kinda unfair on him tbh.

I don’t know, I think Yuki is a better driver at the moment but Lawson will have a higher peak. Also, Yuki is a bit of a tosser.

I'm just thinking of the experience aspect mostly, Liam needs more time and having Yuki take next year gives Liam time to get up to speed as he hasn't even done a full season yet and he is basically been given the hardest job in F1 being Max's team mate who has basically destroyed everyone who was paired against him.

It's like Benji taking the tigers job with no experience, arguably the hardest job in NRL.

It will be interesting because essentially, you have two rookies in two of the best seats in F1 - Mercedes and Red Bull.

In Lawson’s case though, he was pretty good coming through but not a stand out like Andronetti and Piastri. He’s got his work cut out. We’ve seen this before with the likes of Gasly, Albon and even Bottas, elevated before ready and now stuck in the also ran cars / out of F1.
