He's becoming more and more likeable to me with every race weekend. I just didn't like how he and Horner were during his Hamilton fighting era.

But to laugh at McLaren for asking the drivers to switch, while dunking on them in their fastest car with a 20sec win is peak Max. The way he is with the press lately is hilarious.

There's also this pic from when the press were talking about the McLaren swap.

When he's not winning, I like him a lot more tbh haha. He's far more likeable when he's not complaining every single race.

The Oscar thing, I hate it. I get team orders etc but it just annoys the hell out of me that this sort of shit always falls Landos way. Max laughing on comms about it sums it up perfectly
 
You kind of almost wonder if Oscar wins it all, will McLaren actually cry instead of cheer?

And man, how annoying is the commentary? Understand guys that you are broadcast internationally, we don't care only about British drivers. And a lot of people actually want Oscar to win it, not Lando.

Nothing against Lando either, he seems really likeable, there's just no denying that he is only in it because of team orders and luck. Oscar should probably have this locked up already.

Solid comment on the radio this morning...if Lando got a flat would they ask Oscar to pull over a d slash one of his tyres?
 
I loved Oscar's screw you in the presser after:

'Yeah look it is what it is but I realise that given I'm going to be leading this team into the future, I need to work with them. So not ideal but happy to do the team thing but we'll have a discussion about it for sure.'
 
Reading some of the radio stuff from last night is making it even more annoying.

Joseph: “Lando we will box this lap onto the soft tyre.”
Norris: “Did you want to box the other car first?”
Joseph: “Yep, we’ll do that. We’ll swap it around, so stay out.”
Norris: “Well, only if he doesn’t undercut, otherwise I’ll box first.”
Joseph: “There will be no undercut.”

Norris was leading, so he has priority option, but the bit about undercutting when he has done that to Oscar, what 3 times? Already this season 😂😂
 
Plus if it wasn’t for Oscar, Lando probably would have qualified in like 12th, so Oscar didn’t owe him anything, it was the opposite
 
Yeah, I've calmed a bit on it all tbh. He said his piece and did as asked. If similar happens to him though, we'd best see the same consideration from the team and Lando.

Pretty pumped that it's actually on at a reasonable hour this weekend as well. At least it's a track they can make some moves on as well.
 
I mean their strat will of course let them down, they'll go for a 3 pit race or some shit.
