Thanks big Pete for the thread. Forgive me for being a miserable turd on this but I'm just hoping for no injuries for our guys on both teams. My interest has been pretty low for the whole tournament....to be honest I'll have more interest in our trail against the sharks at reddy. Unfriendly time tonight and massive jobbers like Blake ferguson in the team make it easy for me be a club before country supporter..

It's interesting that Australia have never beaten NZ in a Four Nations final.

The last time Australia beat NZ in a final in this kind of competition was the Tri-Nations final in 2006.

However, NZ haven't won a tournament in England since 2005.

I wonder which team is going to break their hoodoo.

I would like to say it's an easy win for Australia, but NZ have a knack for stinking it up throughout a tournament and then playing their best game in the final.

But, I think Australia will win this one.

I think the loss of Leuluai is going to hurt NZ. He isn't a great player, but the loss of him is just going to put more pressure on Johnson to create everything.

I will be pretty pissed off if Aus somehow lose this. We are clearly the best team this tournament, but NZ's record in tournament finals is a worry. Are we number 1 again if we win this?

Danger game for the Australians.

While last week's effort was a marked improvement over the past performance against New Zealand, the scoreline flattered them. They cannot expect New Zealand to clock off in defence like England did and the Kiwis possess more threats than England.

Australia should be too consistent across the eighty, but if New Zealand bring their A game the Four Nations is theirs once again.

Man that's a bit late to watch a game. I'll probably watch it anyway though.

My bad folks, the game is actually on Channel 9!

I've had Heartbeat on for the past 20 minutes wondering what the hell is going on.

It's on the HD channel as well, which is sweet. Freakin' Hyde and Seek was on wtf??

Australia to win comfortably but I'm hoping for a good game.

I wasn't gonna watch this because of the lack of Broncos, but it's more footy and I don't work tomorrow so....

Smart play Australia.

Took advantage of Harris' pace and lack there of to set Fergo up in the corner.
