Four Nations Week 3

One thing they definitely won't do is drop Jennings.

I can't see Moylan getting a run then. Which would be a disappointment for him. Though he did only come in to the squad due to Hayne pulling out.

Good to see Thaiday shifted to the fringes. Haven't been overly impressed with Papalii but have faith that it's the best move for the team.

The bench is something else, but quietly confident that there will be a few last minute changes. Sadly, I reckon Sheens will stick with Farah over Hunt.

EDIT: While it's something of a moot point, if Moylan was brought into shift GI, Jennings could easily play on the right. Granted, he's more effective at left, but he would be an improvement over Walker.

Walker's surprisingly dismal form has me well and truly questioning Chambers' omission. I'm far from his biggest fan, but he fulfilled all the criteria and showed that he could play on the wing if necessary.

Should have been there over Johnston or Mata'utia.

Hunt 18th man. Sheens is an idiot if that's how they end up on the weekend.

I seriously think Sheens has a mental problem, Hunt did everything he could possibly do to retain his position, but still gets dropped.

Completely disagree.

He's an idiot regardless!

Still, he's my idiot. I hope he can back up his World Cup winning role with a Four Nations victory. Nothing says meaningless more than Tim Sheens winning it!

I wouldn't have an issue with his omission if he wanted to bring in another forward or experiment with the backline.

But Farah > Hunt makes no sense. Not after the game on Sunday but that appears to be the way he's headed after what he said in the press conference and his selections today.

Pick a 17 and stick to Sheens you fuckwit. A lot of these guys 1. don't play together. 2. have had no football for 6 weeks.
Sheens is self destructing.

Sheens did say the 3 halves experiment wouldn't work every week, so I had a feeling he would drop Hunt for Farah.

Perhaps Smith will move to 5/8/Lock and Farah will move to Hooker.

I am hoping he makes a late change and puts Hunt in, but I can't see it.

I'm a big fan of Robbie Farah but him getting the spot ahead of Hunt is stupid and doesn't make any sense. Hunt played superbly on Sunday in difficult circumstances yet he gets dropped. Idiot

Does anyone know the Samoan anthem?

Tbf, Sheens named Hunt in the 18th man position last week as well. Although this week I'm not confident he'll change it.

Well, thank god Thaiday won't be shitting it up in the front row anymore.

Counting chickens before they're hatched is a bad move my friend.

I've just been watching the replay of the semi between England and NZ in the WC, the pommy commentators were hilarious.

When Burgess concedes that penalty in the last minute which gives the Kiwis a full set in their 30.

"Oh no! NOOOO!"

I'm hoping to see that kind of game again. That was a fucking great game.

Watching that game, it makes me wonder whether Johnson can handle big games like that.

Apart from scoring a try, he did nothing. He was terrible and he backed it up the following week with another terrible performance.

Johnson is like the Inglis of halfbacks, can be completely invisible some games, completely invisible apart from one amazing play and then there's times where he's untouchable for the majority of a game.

Yeah, there seem to be more and more confidence players these days. I find them a bit depressing. It's great when they are in form, but they could easily play poorly too.

There should be more like Cam Smith, and to a (slightly?) lesser extent Cooper Cronk and Thurston. Just consistent... well, most of the time.
