Loads of classic games, well worth reminiscing.

However I'm spoiled and have already seen these games in recent years. I wish Fox would mix it up and showcase some more pre-2005 games.

I hope once Fox launches the NRL channel, we'll see more classic games. The game has such a rich history, it's a shame that it isn't showcased as often as it should be.

I recommend the 1990 game against the Raiders immensely, fantastic match with a thrilling ending between two sides who were exciting to watch and not afraid to throw the ball around. Best remembered for Paul Hauff's try.

And your right Big Pete, it's pretty disappointing to have so few games pre 2005, plenty of quality affairs to choose from prior to it.

Broncos/Raiders 1990 is the best match of the bunch, but if I had to pick a favourite performance I'd go with 2005.

It won't be remembered, but the Broncos were a far better attacking unit in 05 than they ever were in 06.

Fair enough but personally I rate the 1990 side better for what it achieved under the biggest testing conditions off the field for the new franchise at that point(Lewis getting sacked as captain, Kevin Walters replacing him at 5/8th and Lewis moved to lock, the public and media calling for Bennett, Miles and Walters to be sacked) and the attacking football it provided, the talent coming through and a far more consistent outfit then that of the 1988-1989 outfits, it was pretty clear that the foundation of the 92/93 premierships was built then.

There's been better non-premiership years than 2005, but in terms of just watching the Broncos put the sword to the team for the entire 80, that 05 game is the pick of the lot.

Recorded most of them - I'm rewatching the QLD streak atm so I'll get to them soon. I LOVE watching old Broncos games, and I'm still sour we didn't win '15 because we would have got the season box set, every game. We deserved that after the season we had. **** I wish they would release every season on dvd or something.
