How the hell can Johns be on the list?
He played what, 5 games in this decade? The guy is a druggo anyway. Tosser.

Price should have a lot more votes than he has. At least he has played the whole decade unlike Fittler, Inglis, Johns, Kennedy, Slater, Smith, Webcke.

Don't be silly. Johns is one of the best players ever and it really can only be a two horse race.
Either lockyer or Johns, no one else deserves to win it.

Yeah, no problem with Johns being on the list. He played from 2000-2007.

But Lockyer simply has to be the winner. Just look at the list of feats and achievements:
Premierships: 2000, 2006 (captain)
Clive churchill medal: 2000
Golden boot: 2003, 2006
State of Origin series wins: 4 (2001, 2006, 2007, 2009) all as captain
Tests: 40+ (most as captain)
NRL Games: 220-odd

Johns was good too:
Premiership: 2001 (captain)
Clive churchill medal: 2001
Golden boot: 2002 (I think)
Dally M: 2001 and 2002 (I think)
Provan Summons Medal: 2001-2004 I think

Lockyer edges him out, but Johns is a worthy member of the top 10 of the decade.

I think those records are a bit out of whack...

two horse race between Locky and Joey and Locky defs edges him out. If Joey played another three seasons then perhaps a diff story.

Daylight between them and everyone else, but Locky edges out Joey. In some ways Joey was unlucky in the sense that he didn't get to play out a whole decade when it comes to these lists, or else it would've been a tighter race. Injuries cruelled him.

I rate Joey as a player at his very best as being better than Locky at his peak. But Lockyer is/was far more consistent and has achieved more in the game.
