Never gets old. NSW's smiling faces at the start of each series. Will this be their year? Surely it will! The hopeful children running inside after school on a Wednesday. "Can we stay up and watch it Dad?". Dad thinks, what if NSW win? They'll remember it forever. ****ING NOPE. The kids go to bed crying. Should have known better, Dad.

I'm telling you, it'd be great. There could be a relegation system, and NSW would have to play Fiji for the right to play in Origin again. And then Hayne would play for Fiji and Fiji would win and the schadenfreude would be off the charts!

yea sorry broncoman but i cant consider joey better then thurston. for a long time they have been about equal but tbh now thurston has had the longevity of being at top alot longer. imo i still consider lockyer a little ahead of johns but now as much as it pains me cause i hate the cowboys thurston has overtaken them both i think.

not taking anything away from joey he was another absolute freak even though he will always have a * next to his name in alot of ppls eyes due to the drugs he was taking before games that made him felt immortal

come now i no every 1 likes geeing up broncoman but nsw were not that bad tonight. for a very good portion of game they were better side. they just lack the finish. and there is no beetter clutch players then the likes of thurston cronk and smith they were the differance.

its hard for nsw but as a nrl fan we have been very blessed to watch those 3 players as well as lockyer when he was there play togetehr in the same team the highlight reel for last decade must be neally never ending now

NSW stood up tonight and really made a good contest out of it and showed that there isn't that much between the teams. There was inches in it and the inches went Queensland's way and they capitalized on it.

As a die hard NSW man it is challenging and at times frustrating to fall short all the time but it is something to see a team with Thurston, Cronk and Smith in it going around their work naturally and it will be something to tell our grandkids and other generations.

But as a true fan you always stick loyal to your team and ride the good times through the bad. I was at every single Reds game in all those years when nobody cheered for them or cared about them and I can't tell you how beautiful seeing that title win in 2011 was.

nsw try hard, but they have no intelligence. They start getting grubbier when they get frustrated as well. So pleased peptide paul, whose best origin performance was under the influence of the drugs, has ended his origin career with another loss.

If we can find a couple of forwards the future looks bright when you look we have the likes of Munster, Chambers, Milf, Napa, Hunt, Holmes and Grevsmuhl to come back next year.

So sick of hearing how nsw threw the two games away, they didnt. They lost because they arent good enough. Time the southern scumbag press gave these Queenslanders a bit more credit for being one of the greatest, most resilient sides in rugby league history.

im curious about this tbh. why doesnt the likes of gus and joey get involved in the team? i mean they have so many ideas and critical of what went wrong and why and they both seem absolutly gutted and over the dominance now. surely its worth trying getting them both involved in the team

He's waiting for a good team to come together. He won't want to coach a bunch a scrubs. Once they get some talent back in and Queensland fall off, he'll swan back in and take the glory for turning them around.

as much as they are all great players. i guess the one thing they havnt showed yet is the sheer composure under pressure that is required for origin that qld have been blessed with. i think once cronk thurston and smith go . games will be a lot more even with some dominated by nsw and others dominated by qld. will be interesting times ahead.

but we still got at least another 2 years of thurston cronk smith. so enjoy it
