We're honouring the 1919 jersey, nice touch.
Payne Hass is going to rip Queensland a new one this Origin series, no doubt about it. I havent been this exciited about a player since Lockyer.
When do they announce TBA?
Hope it's Cronk(C)
Hodgo, Petero and Thurston are a good trio to have around camp.
What did he do to avoid having one then? The players have learnt about Thompson this week.

The bravery and commitment displayed by Duncan Thompson a century ago was honoured by the 2019 Maroons when they wore a replica of the 1919 Queensland jersey for their captain’s run on Tuesday at Suncorp Stadium ahead of Wednesday night’s State of Origin opener.www.qrl.com.au

"He was an absolute legend." That is how Wayne Bennett started his tribute to the late Duncan Thompson… one master coach to another.www.qrl.com.au
Gavin Allen too. 12 months ago he needed a heart transplant.
What did he do to avoid having one then?
Mbye trained a bit at hooker on Sunday night but he also roamed around in a Hunt, Cronk, Morgan off the bench role. The average amount of tackles done by a hooker in Origin has been 48 over the last three years, that’s a lot of work for Hunt. Interesting to see how it drains him then to attack and run.
Queensland worked very hard on their left hand side attack which is obviously pivotal with Munter and Ponga but also in defence worked on their inside balls. The whole defensive session was spent defending and vocalising that ‘rails run.’
Jets were also told to offload at every chance, which they do anyway.
What’s rails run?
When Smith runs out..When do they announce TBA?
