Game II Discussion

This qld team as great as it has been has expired. Nsw too quick, too energetic and have developed their brotherhood.

This is the scary thing for Queensland. They actually look like a team for the first time in forever.

Argh if only Boyd channelled GI there and runs a strong line... instead he runs an obvious decoy and JT has to go out the back.

The problem we had playing down the left is the lack of numbers. We don't have Boyd interjection from FB to create numbers. The ball isn't going through Slater.

Was it just me or did napa and wallace hardly take any hit ups. It's as though it was the plan to have gagai and chambers do the hard yards which I don't understand

Thaiday will get his 30th notch after The glasby debacle

Some are getting found out here.

Never really got the Papalli hype. Just a fat bean bag who gets gassed after two minutes.

The best hope we have is for our backs to make metres from dummy half and get some quick play the balls off it. Our forwards have nothing.

QLD's glory days are very much behind us. How the **** did Glasby get a gig in Origin?

They got rid of the players holding them back.

Maybe so, but they went off and our D fell to pieces

Although, if we had Inglis he scores that try.

Forward wise between the two teams, I think both sides are similar to their previous selves of the early to mid 90's where NSW had the big edge in the forward department.

Can we get some commentators that talk about something other than NSW players. Also NSW throw 4 or 5 forward passes and the silence is deafening. Qld throw one and they talk about it. **** off Gould. Oh yeah when is Hess coming on? Been looking forward to seeing how he goes. Anyways come on Qld, we need a few soft penalties like playing the ball onto the markers' knee.

Thaiday and Oates > Glasby and Holmes...

Glasby was trying to be something he's not by coming out of the line... he has settled into his work now though. Made some good meters and found his front
