CRICKET General Cricket Discussion - 2023/24

Well the Aussie bowlers may lack venom this World Cup but the batsmen seem to be sharing the performances around.

Bangladesh players are so pathetic, appealing for that and claiming it during the reviews

Whilst there has been some truly average moments throughout this World Cup Australia has chucked up some incredible innings with the bat both as a team and from individuals. Great innings from Marsh and nice cameos by Warner and Smith to get that pretty easily. Will be very interesting to see how we go in the semis. Not sure we quite rounded out a performance yet. The bowling from everyone but Zampa just hasn’t been to scratch consistently enough. Monster scores are going to be needed from here in out and at the moment with Head, Warner, Smith, Labuschagne and Maxwell I’m confident we can put on monster scores not so confident we can defend them.

It will be interesting to see what team balance they go with because obviously Starc is back in for Abbott rightly or wrongly but does Stoinis simply make way for Maxwell? I’d think those two changes are all that should really happen.

After losing their opening two matches, Australia has now won seven-straight to soar into the semifinals — their best ODI winning streak since they won 10 in a row in 2019.

Fuckin RONNIE !

50 ODI hundreds to Kohli! The guy is a freak. I never thought I'd see someone better than Bevan...but he is.

This hardly seems fair to have such different conditions under lights.

By this stage last night, India were around 60 for none. SA currently 24-4, what a crumble
