No, it doesn't really bother me either. BUT, again, given the NRL's history with scandals involving treatment of women it's just a stupid decision to have someone with her background involved with them in any official capacity.

And if families have a problem with it then I suggest they reassess the values they try and instill in their Children. Nobody's kids (or anyone for that matter) would have had a clue about her past or even who the hell she was until this story came out. However that is besides the point. What kind of bastard would deem her problems to leave her beyond redemption? I'm sorry but I think that's just ridiculous. There's nothing illegal about porn and whilst it may not be consistent with your personal morals there is a massive, massive difference between being a porn star who did drugs and being a sex offender.

I don't see your point, porn isn't illegal unlike the two things you mentioned. I mean I agree that being a drug cheat or sex offender would and should be bought up, the only reason this is a 'scandal' is because the papers are grubbing for a story and Australia is a bunch of prudes

She is hideous and has a bit of a dodgy past, but nothing that doesn't deserve the right to start with a clean slate, given the fact none of what she did was illegal. Besides, as someone pointed out, this wouldn't have been an issue, weren't it for sensationalistic media looking for a headline. :glare:

All this comes down to is the way the grubby journalists are slanting this story.

The could have gone with a positive slant, I.e. a story about overcoming drug addiction and questionable sexual behaviour as you put it; and everyone would be praising the situation.


The average person will react however the media tells them to

A persons sexual proclivities are not for public debate and certainly should be above the high and mighty moral highground spoken of in some previous posts. It is also unimportant that this woman played around with drugs in her past. If it is ancient history then it did not require revelation. Her role afterall was nothing to do with giving advice on drugs or in any way connected with the medical side of things.

I agree she is unattractive and could probably grow a better beard than Tonie Carrol but my prejudice aside it is a complete non-story but if a person thinks it brings shame on the Titans then they are screwed up themselves. It shows a club that believes everyone deserves a chance especially one who has done no wrong. The Mums and Dads out there in supporter land have just as many secrets as the ones exposed by the media grubs. If you live long enough you learn how little you know about even your closest friends when it comes to the bedroom and what floats peoples boats. Most won't even know what really does for it their spouse !!!
