GOOD NEWS!!!!!!

But it is the rest of the teams fault for Wallace's lack of time and poor kicking game... Might help if our attacking line is deeper, might help with having more time.

I agree. I'd be good to see how Hunt takes the opportunity and hopefully he can combine with McCullough the same way he did when the u20s nearly won the comp a few years ago.

Good news would be if we beat the Raiders and Dragons beat Sths next week, plus Locky being fit for the finals hehehehehe

I dunno about you but but the combo of Norman and Hunt in the halves in a must win game does not fill me with confidence at all. Any change of Locky being back?

I'd rather lose with the future on the field then some red headed retard from Victardia.

Classy.

Good to see the true broncos fans come out in force when we lose or when our players are out of form.[/quote:3ukj6j97]

forget next week south have a 56 better for and against now than us

Souths play the Dragons next week though.

so if we beat the Raiders and Dragons beat Souths we make the 8 (things become harder if the Raiders beat the Cowboys by more than 15 though).

Since the Raiders Cowboys game is in Canberra and the Cowboys have been playing like a busted arsehole, I'd say they have a good chance of beating them by more than 15.

Wallace has been shit all season, bar one, maybe two games.

There, I said it.

No one will convince me otherwise. Not even the old 'pathetic fan' argument.

He's about as much a marquee player as Shane Tronc.

No, he's nothing like Tronc.

I suppose Hodges isn't a marquee player because he's had a nothing year?

If the Cowboys lose by more than 15(entirely possible...) then I don't give us much hope of making the finals because having to win 13+ or something would be too much IMO.

I think Locky is a certainty to play but IF he doesn't then I give us no hope.
We are not a one man team, I refuse to accept that but the teams attitude is pathetic without Locky out there.

Wallace came in mid-season after spending 6 years at another club where he never looked like an Origin player?

I mean, I know you have an agenda but geez...
While Coxy does have an agenda he is still right in this regard.
Wallace is not and never has been a marquee player at our club.
The Marquee players at our club are Thaiday, Folau, Locky and Hodges, that's all.
A marquee player is the sort of player who would make any other team in the comp no questions asked.

So what is Wallace? Just joe average?
Well this season he's below joe average [icon_wink
Seriously though he's one of our "better" players when in form but he's not a marquee player, he's just not in that league.

I don't agree with your term marquee signing. I suppose Cronk isn't a marquee player since JT and Prince have been better players over the years? 'Spose Hunt wasn't a marquee signing since Slater is apparently the best fullback...of ALL TIME! etc.

If that's your's and Coxy's definition I understand. To me, Kimmorley is a marquee player since he's an important part of any side he plays for. As is Wallace.

This thread just reeks of bad taste...

Wallace has definitely had a bad year, it's possible some of the injuries hes had have effected him. He had a bad end to 2009, then an injury in pre-season, then I think he had another few niggling problems with his hamstring
