GOOD NEWS!!!!!!

Wallace was a marquee signing. He was signed to replace Langer. How many halfbacks has the Broncos gone through since Langer retired?
Anyways, Wallace has been playing shiiet this year. But all players go through bad patches.
Don't give up on him yet. The player the Broncos should be worried about is young Norman. This kid is supposed to fill Lockyer shoes when he retires. I know he's still young, but he has nothing in his game except for a solid kicking game.

I don't mind Norman's running game either Big_Dave. Still needs to work on his ball-skills, passing and defensive game though to be considered Lockyer's heir.

Norman runs more than he passes.
If he wants to become a running 5/8th he must bulk up a lot. He doesn't have great speed or great footwork.
All he does is drifts across a little and straightens up, thats because he has no passing game.

To be honest, I'd rather we don't make the finals then just scrape in and the whole team think they "got away with it".

They need a solid boot up the arse, last night was just horrible.

Wallace has definitely had a bad year, it's possible some of the injuries hes had have effected him. He had a bad end to 2009, then an injury in pre-season, then I think he had another few niggling problems with his hamstring

I thought he went ok at the back end of last year. Everyone knew that when he busted his ankle in that semi-final against St George that his absence would be pivotal the following week. And so it showed.

But he has been dreadful for parts of this year. His general field kicking has really gone backwards and he just looks pedestrian at times.

Understandably I think some of the fans are having a hard time making sense of it given all the hype when he came from Penrith. It hasn't panned out as I'd expected that's for sure.

Well, I say thanks to Wallace for his efforts this year. I'm certain he busted his guts to do everything he could to help us win and I can't ask for anymore than that. I know he knows he could have played better this year but for whatever reason he was unable to produce his best. I'm guessing he has a valid reason or explanation and not being privy to that information I accept he did his very best. Thanks Peter.... icon_thumbs_u

His job would have been made a great deal easier with a better laid platform from his forwards and the main area we need to improve in.

That is my whole point. icon_thumbs_u

TBH I'd rather see them win and win a lot.

Another Wallace thread though, I mean damn, talk about flogging a dead horse. Weren't the admins against this?
