Dogs are bringing this back to an arm wrestle.

Should have been a penalty there on Reynolds in the 11th minute. Ref calls held and they drag him back another 5 metres. I hate that, the defensive side should not have that advantage.
 
I was wondering which Reynolds you were referring to SF - I thought Josh's were fine.

Dumb play there from Williams. You have to be absolutely sure of yourself when you take those options.
 
Great discretion shown by the referees there.

Jackson should come off if he was that groggy.

It's only a penalty if it's a reportable offence.

That wasn't and Jackson should be off the field for 15.

have ta say this whole afternoon has been great in terms of the refs swallowing their whistles and letting ticky tack shit go that would normally be penalised in the previous 30 weeks

Keary is a real danger around the ruck. I like it when halves see something and handle the play the ball as it often catches the defence off guard. Prime example there and Souths score a very similar try to the one they scored the week before.

The Bulldogs should really try and test Souths more on their left hand fringe.

Finucane should definitely have been binned there.

Refs are way too gun-shy in that regard.
