Congrats to the Pride that was a very impressive win under difficult circumstances but Penrith could've quite easily won it if they didn't make so many schoolboy errors and drop the ball more than twice the amount of times the Pride did.

What about the story Channel 9 were relaying about how a bunch of the Pride players rocked up in their work outfits to fulfill their media obligations?

Just adds another element to the story - a bunch of part-timers basically beat a team of professionals.

having worked up in Cairns in the local media for a few (amazing) years I can tell you the whole of NQ and particularly FNQ has a massive chip on its shoulder about being forgotten / neglected ect by the rest of the state and when it comes to sport, the rest of the country ... it is immeasurable how much more that game would have meant to the Pride than those other 17 individuals wearing white and black...
