Great news. I've been singing Hook's praises for awhile now and on the record of saying that he'd be one of maybe 2 other coaches I would have been fine with replacing Henjak.
Speaking of, not to drag this thread down but Ivan actually selected Glenn to play five eigth. Carroll started over him, but Glenn played the majority of the game in the halves. It didn't work out but really Henjak didn't have much to choose from other than two NYC halves who weren't up to standard, Aaron Gorrell or possibly PJ Marsh. Pretty sure he wasn't injured then.
Griffen on the other hand had the same two NYC halves who at this point were seasoned and moderately experienced & still opted for a backrow. It's not the reason we lost though. I reckon the absence of Hoffman was huge that night, if only because it meant Copley had to play.
