I'm talking about next season when he can play 80 mins at lock and be groomed by Wayne in the off season. This season is almost a write off.

Make McQuire the captain. He seems like a no nonsense type of bloke who also seems to respect those above him (coaching staff). Boyd might not be hard enough to pull some of the plodders into line.

Over-achieving last year has nothing to do with it. We were brilliant last year. Last 2 months we have been shithouse.

I hope Hunt does play ISC. We'll find just how bad we can get. Hunt's been over performing the last few years. Now he's playing average every loss is his fault. Nevermind we could not defend our left wing especially once Oates left the field.

Every loss is 'his fault' because he hasn't refined his game in QCup for a couple of years, thanks to in part to Griffin. But Ben was too good to leave out and he might've left had he not been in 1st grade. I guarantee if he had spent that 09-11 period in reserve grade, he'd be a much more complete, composed halfback

currently he's pushing passes that aren't on, taking wrong options and his kicking game is almost a disservice at times, save the odd occasion like the first 5 minutes of tonight

Edit: Alternatively, if he'd been given the halfback or 5/8th spot over Wallace or Norman in that time we would have around the same result: ie an extra 50-70 games at halfback. So far he's had what, 65-70 at most (out of 150-odd), with a decent amount jammed in between weeks at bench hooker? For the record, my preferred pairing was Norman + Hunt.

I find it ridiculous that the younger blokes wouldn't respect and try their hearts out for Parker.

Maybe he's an arsehole to them.

Remember Parker said David Klemmer didn't show him respect in Origin.

I have heard rumours that a few senior players, treat the younger players like shit.
