She doesn't "have" to give a reason, and of course people can support all the teams they want - I'm no one's keeper and you're right, as long as the NRL is benefiting as a whole it's no worries at all with me. Again, it's more because this ISN'T just between people on a forum, but people in real life. If you have mates, you might have noticed that a bit of ribbing does go on regarding some issues. :roll:

If anyone sat in front of me wearing a huge Cowboy Hat, I would burn it. You can't see past them.

I follow other teams, but would never buy their merchandise.

I have been to a GF & the Broncos weren't in it.

I bought tickets thinking the Broncos would be in it. The 1999 GF

And I wore my Broncos jersey.

It is just plain weird IMO. You have your team and thats the team you support. Sure you have a second team but as if you would actually wear there supporter gear. That is just silly.

I remember when I was a kid dad never wanted me to go to the Broncos games because I had a tendancy to run off and get lost. Dad used to bring me home flags from the opposing team every week, because I already had many Broncos flags. I appreciated the gift and got the collection but I never took them out and waved them around while i was watching a game on tv. I have only ever had one team, and that's the Broncos (and any team playing the Roosters [icon_lol1. ) and i'm damn proud of it.

Why is it silly? I've yet to hear one decent reason why someone shouldn't wear another team's gear. It's all been "......BUT THAT'S SILLY!!!! IT'S JUST WEIRD!!!!!!"

Why?

When you watch a game on tele between two non-broncos sides, do you not support one team over the other? How is it silly that some people can take it to the next level and love another team enough to wear their gear?

The fact is I have a place in my heart for the team from the city I was born in, but have supported the Broncos for much longer.

I'd never want the Cowboys to win against the Broncos, but I want them to win every other match. The Broncos are my number 1 team no matter what, but if they get knocked out then I am more than happy to cheer on the Cowboys.
