I wouldn't say they have handled it superbly. From a logistics point of view they have done well to resolve the situation and get Fifita back home, but from a PR standpoint they have yet again lost control of the narrative.

The only quotes on the situation have been from his Bali lawyer who has been far too vocal for Australia media purposes and has been swooped on by the scum of the earth journalists over here... it's a mistake to allow him to say that Fifita can't remember what happened or to try and downplay it as minor misunderstandings, etc. because that shit doesn't fly over here with the PC brigade

It may have been that the Broncos kept silent so as to not antagonise the situation with the Bali police, but we haven't provided any alternative story to the one that the media are currently running away with (alleged bashing, alleged assault, etc.).

It will be hard to pull back the narrative now, unless the integrity unit does in fact find evidence of a completely different scenario
