I am happy that Brisbane get the home semi but do people think that Melbourne and the Roosters should get the home finals as they finished higher on the ladder despite their losses.

Why give them a second home advantage?

I just think teams that performed better for 26 rounds should still get an advantage despite loss in first semi.

I think it is odd that a team scrapes into 8th position and gets a home final.
Stupid system.
I am wrapped the Warriors won. I tipped them while so many wrote them off and believe on their day they can win this thing but I don't believe that they should have a home final.
Week one fair enough but after that it's not on.
$$$$$$$$$$$ is all that the league thinks about.

I think it is fair enough. Once the finals start it is a whole new ball game. Fair enough they may have been better for the rest of the season but winning in the first round of finals for another home semi is an incentive to win a game...

The warriors busted their arse to beat the top placed team who had a home advantage. They have earned the right as underdogs to a home final now.

The Storm and Roosters performed for 26 rounds I feel that they deserve to be rewarded with another chance at home.

They already got rewarded with their first home final. They didnt take advantage of it, its their fault. Its perfectly fine the way it is now.

No they lost that right as they were beaten.
The system is wrong.
The first week home advantage but after that neutral grounds.

yeah but the way the NRL have always worked neutral grounds has been to play the game in Sydney, if Brisbane or the Storm or Warriors were to play in Sydney it would still give the Sydney team they were playing effectively a home semi.

Think of the finals as a new competition.

No way. Today the McIntyre (or however you spell it)system has been proven worthy. Couldn't be happier with it, and I've been dubious of it in the past.

You to would have still not liked it had the Warriors been done just as Canberra and Saints were demolished and we had to endure terrible footy on Saturday night.
This time the footy Gods smiled on our game thank goodness.

I agree. Warroirs deserve their home final on Friday night. If last year we had knocked over the Storm in week one, we would have all been jumping for joy at the McIntyre system for the extra chance. Finals footy is a totally different ball game.
