Kurt Baptiste needs to get a run already, he has what we need off the bench
Yep.

Kurt isn't what we need. Granted he hasn't played that many games, but when he has he's mostly been forgettable.
wayne gave steve michaels a guaranteed spot in the broncos week in week out. wayne gave stu kelly a guaranteed spot in the broncos week in week out. wayne released priddis because he viewed mick ryan as the better prospect. wayne said no to billy slater when he wanted to play for the broncos.Wayne was trying to get him down to the Knights. But what would Wayne and I know about talent?

so what would wayne know about talent? not much apparently.
It's amazing he's won two premierships in the last 7 years when he doesn't know how to pick out talented players. To me that says he must be able to get nuffies to play really well to be able to win premierships.wayne gave steve michaels a guaranteed spot in the broncos week in week out. wayne gave stu kelly a guaranteed spot in the broncos week in week out. wayne released priddis because he viewed mick ryan as the better prospect. wayne said no to billy slater when he wanted to play for the broncos.

You could say the exact same thing about Bellamy.Any coach with the talent Bennett had at his disposal would look good. He may have brought out the music, but that isn't much use if there is no instrument to play
if those teams were filled with nuffies you might have a point. they werent though, so you dont. It's amazing he's won two premierships in the last 7 years when he doesn't know how to pick out talented players. Oh FFS can we not send this off topic into another Bennett argument?

anyways, back on topic - does anyone know of any reason given why McCullough doesnt play 80?
AP: "anyways, back on topic - does anyone know of any reason given why McCullough doesnt play 80?"
He's a tackling machine and gases himself out. He's playing like he can do it this year though, maybe half way through we will see him playing 80.
Hang on a minute, Lockyer was the one who was organising the team on the field post-Bennett and we still looked pretty damn good when he was in our team, this was well and truly after Bennett had gone. That's fair enough up to a point but for mine, more than half our problems stem from the fact Bennett failed to coach any structures into this side and simply let the galaxy of stars he had do their stuff.
Now they are gone, the bleeding obvious is just that.
As for Bellamy, he coaches structures despite his splendid spine ... and they all follow orders
