I think it's the stubble shit look that he's developed. Hasn't played a game with a clean face for a while now. Kinda gives off an untidy, it takes to much effort vibe (drastic changes considering this is the kid who had his hair perfectly geled for every game [icon_lol1.).

How good was his pickup? It's that kind of confidence and bravery that makes him so unique for a kid of his age. Other kids would've thought "shit, I better dive on that so they don't get it", but he picked it up on the fly and kept going. Unreal.

And credit to Kidley too. He reacted really well to it. I really rate Kurt Gidley, I think he's a better fullback than Brett Stewart to be honest. Stewart has better speed, but defensively I think they're about equal and Gidley can do more in attack.

I rate Kidley as one of the best Fullbacks this year, Slater, Kidley, Hunt the top 3 for mine.

That pick up was awesome, did anyone see Ben Jeffries for the Titties at the back yesterday? If he had 1/2 the courage of K he would've saved a couple of tries, scared of picking up the ball when it's being chased down.
