Intrust Super Cup 2015

Tigers have lost Nona for the game as well.

Can just about pencil a PNG v Ipswich prelim now.

Anyone know what the record is for most tries in an ISC match?

Most Ind Tries in a single game:
7 Chris Walker, Twba v Wests 2000 R2
7 Anthony Zipf, Nths v B-V 2004 R13

Parcell is quality all over. Good defence, very quick, fantastic service.

I was really disappointed to lose him

Pretty decent audition for Carlin Anderson with WB watching on the hill, kicked 6/8, shame he couldn't nail that last one from the sideline to really send a message, but doesn't matter.

Anyone know what sort of % Carlin is kicking at for the season? 1910

I am sure that 15/17 and 42 points from two finals games in 2015 speaks loud enough.

2015- 76/100

220 points
17 tries and 76 goals.

76% hey.. not too bad, at least we can work with that, I'm sure he'd gradually improve in first grade as he gets a bit more strength and practice in his legs.

Sucks to be losing him to manly. From the limited highlights I've watched i thought he had better potential then Granville and he's turned out pretty good.

Jets Vs Hunters will be played at Kougari Oval Wynnum.
Thats 5min away for me. The Hunters had plenty of fans that turned up last year. Very keen to see how many folks make it to what is essentially an away game for both teams.

Is it going to be on Nein?

In light of recent comments regarding the Intrust Super Cup finals, the QRL would like to clarify a number of issues with the following release:
· The Hunters were eligible to play the Qualifying Final at their home ground last weekend. However, because they finished second, the minor premiership-winning Townsville Blackhawks received the hosting rights.
· The QRL has been aware for some time now that the Hunters could be in the Preliminary Final. QRL staff travelled to PNG to explore logistics and the costings associated with a live Preliminary Final broadcast as per our contractual obligations. Unfortunately, neither the Hunters, nor the game’s current funding model, could meet the estimated cost of more than $200,000.
· As a result, the QRL consulted with its clubs and determined that Sunday’s Preliminary Final between the Hunters and Ipswich Jets would be played at a neutral venue. We anticipate a packed BMD Kougari Oval and an electric atmosphere between two of the competition’s most entertaining teams.

That double movement against Anderson was a really damn shitty call IMO. The tackler falls off anyway, there was momentum and he would have ended up over the line anyway.
