Yeah but Hunt is from Kiwi Land a bit differwnt isn't it.

Sam is a Torres Strait Islander

The term indigenous peoples can be used to describe any ethnic group of people who inhabit a geographic region with which they have the earliest known historical connection.

Maybe the rumour about the QLD team was correct.

All the Indigenous players could hang around together. [icon_shru

Hunt, Hodges & Thaiday seem to be close friends.

OR MAYBE THE RUMOUR WAS AN ARTICLE WRITTEN BY NEWSLIMITED!!!!

LOLZ!!!!!

The reason the "dark" players get photographed together, is the same reason the QLD indigenous players have for 3 years straight;

The players are ambassadors to outback communities. Indigenous youth look up to the players and they use their position to promote many things raging from alcohol abuse to domestic violence programs in communities.

FFS people!!! Stop being like Newslimited and looking for the next angle. [icon_thumbs_do [icon_thumbs_do

I suppose Cathy Freeman was racist too....she got photos by herself for the exact same organisations.... [eusa_doh

When I'm at work, I "work" (and have high involvement) with about 20 other people at any one time - I always "get along" with them. I don't actually really like maybe 1 or 2 of that 20, but they don't know that, and I have no reason to tell them that or make them think that because we're in a working environment where the only thing we're supposed to be doing to achieve what we have to do for that day is WORK.

Players not liking each other and creating factions is NOT good and not the sort of working environment you should have. Yes it's human nature, but it's not professional - When times get tough, things go wrong, then bad shit comes out and things start to get personal rather than trying to work through the problems and try harder.

If this is true (about the factions etc) then that is the CORE of the attitude problem on the field.

That's a massive "IF" and IMO, totally off the mark.

I don't think these people all hate each other, they may dislike each other, but I doubt they let it get in the way of the club.

Hunt & Hodges are great friends, they always seem to go out together.

Hunt & Thaiday were involved in toiletgate.

RUMOUR is Hodges was the 4th player.

Agreed with you Rock

For the past two years I've been working in an office environment and there are plenty of people there I don't see eye to eye with and plenty of people I instantly clicked with. It IS human nature. Age and generation gaps exist but everyone keeps a professional relationship and respects all the differences and are mature and level headed enough NOT to take things to a personal level. In fact - the ones that DO take shite to the personal level cause the beef.

For e.g. I work closely with people who are a lot older (in their 40s) but obviously I'm more closer to the younger people at work in their twenties but how we act and talk when we are together is entirely different to how I act and talk to the older ones but its all good.

Maybe the Broncos need to get something right in that department? (if this is the case) I mean this is footy we are talking about - ya gotta love ya brothers and be united as one!

That has nothing to do with this really. And just because you say rumour, doesn't make it any less illegal to say his name.

Did you move near Hodges' house, Kaz?

Make your own joke instead of stealing other people's idea. [icon_evillaugh

No I didn't move near him, but know where he lives.

Ok let me put this rumor to bed, Hodges was with his girlfriend on the night of Allumbragate.

Yes there where 4 players at the club, in fact they where at the club before it opened and had a little private party, club opened and things went from there. The 4th player who was there but had absolutley nothing to do with what happened was.... someone you probably wouldn't pick. And if you research the story hes named at being there.

FFS Kaz Weidler. speculate some more....

Hodges and Hunt apparently confirmed to be the two players who were out partying in Origin.

Good I reckon. I hope Mal doesn't choose him again, the less broncos in origin the happier I am.

Cullen also shooting his mouth off in about 3 different articles.

Was only a matter of time before the cover-up was revealed, despite the Broncos best efforts to keep it contained over the past 12 months. Once the full story is known, the **** is really going to hit the fan. Some people, regardless of their playing ability, are nothing but trouble and act as a destabilising influence on the rest of the team. Thankfully one is already on his way out, with hopefully, one or two others to follow. Only then can the rabble which is the Broncos even think about some sort of recovery.

What cover up? Their names have been in every reporters column since the story broke and I have not seen anyone from our club or the players named come out and saying anything to clear themselves.

Errrm the cover-up that has been going on for at least the past 12 to 18 months. The story has only just broken now, despite the fact some club insiders have been aware of certain 'issues' for ages and as they always do, swept it under the carpet hoping what was going on behind the scenes would never raise its ugly head. Is only the tip of the iceberg, but when there are mega $$$ tied up in sponsorship deals and a rapidly deteriorating public image to worry about, these are the types of things you don't want people on the outside knowing about.

Hopefully once everything is out in the open, the club can then begin to heal the wound which has been festering long before Bennett left...
