Dude, Folau was our top try scorer last season. And then he screwed his ankle and was playing at center for the back end of the season, a position he isn't quite used to yet. Writing him off cause he wasn't a star for us in our last few games is just silly.

Top try scorer means nothing to me. Justin Hodges scored 3 tries all year and look how important he is to the side.

Ps - Folau scored 7 tries against the weak titans, pity he can't do that to other teams.

Falou has won us many games on the back of his shear brilliance, how about that leap for the try against the Storm? I doubt there would have been many, if any that could have scored that try.

That leap against the storm is the best thing he did all year no doubt. But I don't doubt that Yow Yeh could have done the same. I've seen Yow Yeh score some brilliant tries in the air, better than anything I've ever seen Folau do. Obviously most people won't see this the same as I do, thats cool, its just my opinion.

I also disagree that he won the storm game for us through 'shear brilliance', I believe aaron gorrells great service from dummy half won us that game icon_thumbs_u [icon_lol1.

I have never seen Beale do anything except panic and drop the ball.

Folou at fullback would be vulnerable to the low grubber kick and defending one on one line break situations.

I'd at least like to see Izzy have a crack in the 1 jersey. I know its hard to draw comparisions between QLD Cup Colts & the NRL but I still can't get out of my mind a few of his perfomances from fullback for Norths Colts in the 2006 season. He was so dominant and the beauty about the perfomances was that he didn't rely soley on his size. He showed vision and passing skills we are yet to see him unleash in the NRL. He even put a few kicks in general play.

I know it was only colts & and I know it's a few years ago now and admittingly I only seen him play a few games but I seen enough to make me think he was capable of at least a shot at fullback.

Exactly. Izzy was playing injured for the first time in his career at the back end of '09.

He was the 2008 Dally M Centre of the Year.

I love that video. If Denan can recapture that form he'll definitely be in the 13, no question about it. It all depends how much this year's horrors have affected his confidence.

I remember him filling in for hunt during a game this year, i think it was against the knights. I thought he went pretty good. But i'd rather him at left centre, give him a full off season there and he'll be fine.
