With all that's happening around the club with the coaching drama, you'd think Hook would drop his agendas and do what's best for the side .... to help the 'team' get the best results they possibly could.

This would mean dropping Reed in favour of Copley IMO.

For mine the board meeting on Tuesday is very timely. If griffin names reed at centre on Tuesday afternoon it shows he has learnt nothing and quite simply isn't up to it

I don't really have any objections to Reed coming off the bench and being used as a fringe runner to give Thaiday or Gillett a rest. His Centre days are over, though.

I join the chorus re Copley at left centre, said it many times that was his position at the U20's, where he often looked like a man amongst boys.

Well my foresight had Reed in the back row two years ago and I've wanted him out of centre for a long while. Didn't know a thing about Copley though but sure heard plenty on this forum rapping him. Great game from him the other night. Hope Griffin sees how well the positional changes worked and may we never see Hoggman in the 5/8 role again. Hell, may even change his name to Hoffman or even better 'The Hoff'.

Agree 100%. I'm a big fan of not changing a winning side. I can understand though if Oates and Vidot come back in but Copley easily has to be at centre again next week. Absolutely has to be. The team announcement will be interesting.

I'm not really hoping he is injured but if he is it could be a blessing in disguise. I don't imagine Hook would have left Reed out of the left centre position if he was fit.

I honestly don't think there is a place for Reed in the back row, or the bench. Oates is the back rower/ utility for mine.

I also agree we need another prop on the bench so Wallace, or even Molo for mine.

Lowrie on the other hand has played ok by me. He does his job well. I say that for I see Reed back in the centres, which is a tragedy, and the only changes will be the Hoffman-Barba axis reversed ... at bloody long last.

I think Reed still has a role to play as a cover man. He's only on 250k a year, which to be fair, for his ability and experience is actually a pretty good deal. If Copley stays off the wing and plays centre then I will happily change my tune and say he should play Origin, which is where Reed comes into the side.

Plus if there's an injury or two in the backrow he is surely a better option than David Stagg or Todd Lowrie. I appreciate that for his salary Reed offers us good value, but he's just not allowed to play ahead of Copley.
