If the tackled player voluntarily jumps or elevates himself so as to offload the balland puts himself off balance, that is not a Dangerous Throw.

I tend to view Guerra's action in the tackle as more a bit of gamesmanship rather than taking a dive or staying down. If someone's hit high and the refs missed it I don't really have much of a problem if it was a strong hard whack. I have a problem if it is the most fleeting of grazes and it's got nothing in it. I remember last season hearing the commentators saying a player was foxing and playing for a penalty but when the other camera angle came up ,blood was gushing from the players nose and he had a split lip bleeding as well.

Guerra probably shouldn't have played for the penalty but I just don't see it the same as staying down for **** all.

Anyway, it's justice that Hodges got off and Guerra's hasn't copped too much...now let's smash the Cows and do a genuine lap of honour, for Hodges, for the Broncos, for us and for WB and his return, are return which has given back the Broncos aura....winners again.
