Boyd has been going better than just about anyone this year at fullback and it would be unfair to Monaghan to draft in a new player when the side has a perfectly fine option in the squad. To say moving Lockyer and Kidley is a better option means your either taking the piss or don't watch much football.

They already have Monaghan at 18th man so it makes perfect sense. Thaiday and Hunt 'deserve' rep selection for this ANZAC test but we can all see which direction they decided to take so it is fair enough - didn't Thaiday come out and say it also? It's clear they are giving some spots to the incumbents - fair call for an one-off anzac test.

I'd rather move Gidley to fullback, his best position, and have Luke Lewis take his bench spot. Smith can play 80 minutes anyway and Lewis can play anywhere in the backline if there's an injury and if not can slot into the back row.

and I think that NSW were lucky to get at least 4 of their 7 players in the side. Stewart, Gallen, Kite and Watmough. just don't deserve to be in the team (they come from teams in the bottom 2). IMO, Thaiday was robbed, is has been one of our best every week and from a team =1st.
