Kennedy Thread

It’s a pity he didn’t get totally smashed in that first hit up, would have saved me from reading a post on his greatness.

I have watched the footage, it wasn’t much of a hitup.

Probably explains why he was able to make 2 more.

I just wanted a few of the Kennedy detractors on this forum who have called RK lazy to take note.
This guy isn't in the Broncos future plans and is moving on, he's got something going overseas apparently. So, what's his motivation now to perform well?

He's no chance to impress anyone or get an offer from the Broncos. Professional pride? Genuinely doing it for the team? He did something on the weekend a lot of you totally missed. Haven't seen a single mention of it despite it being Haas like.

What you ask?

In the 52nd minute he takes the restart hit up after we scored to make it 20-12. The one where you get totally smashed.

So he makes the first hit up. Palasia the second, Hetherington the third and then Kennedy again makes a strong hitup and then an offload to Paix who is swamped. Now the fifth and amazingly Kennedy has raced back onside and is there to take another hitup, strong as the first two!

That's three strong hitups and an offload in the crucial set after scoring points and they started from the ingoal. Quality fucking stuff and **** you bookhaki

How isnt he playing for NSW on Wednesday?

The only reason he didn’t get smashed in the first hit up is because sims was playing gun shy after 2 sinbins. Does that work for anyone?

So you’re telling me a forward did his job 3 times in 1 set, basically.

Amazing, you’d think they are paying him to do it or something.
Right, nah. That's the work of two forwards. Getting back up off the ground at 6'7" and making three excellent metre gains in three of the five hitups is going above and beyond.

Especially in the crucial set after points. He got us from 105 metres from their tryline to the halfway line. Real leadership in the forwards, he was after all senior man leading.

Like a while back making three tackles in a row, normal for smaller players but excellent from your biggest guy.

At half time the game was very much in the balance and our forwards needed to get on top. That's who we were missing, right? Forwards? Haas, Carrigan, Flegler with Origin, Jensen with injury. Our top four.

Our forwards were being led by our 18th man and he was the most senior and by some way. Willison, Hosking's and Hetherington, that's who RK had to lead, three guys with just 34 games between them. He had to lead a rookie on debut, a kid in his fourth game and Hetherington who was his most experienced with 29 of those 34 games of experience.

Essentially he had two total rookies and a guy in his second real season as his squad.

That's what we took into the second half and like it or not, RK led and the Broncos won the game on the back of the forwards with two tries coming while RK led the way. When he went off the match was won.

Well, get used to it. I'll keep pointing out the things most of you miss. I'm winning by the way too champion, I've dragged them kicking and screaming over to take a real fucking look and not just keep going with their hard arsed opinions. You know what, a lot have had to rethink their views and now he starts getting credit.
What most think is that he's 'improved massively ' this year but in fact he's improved only slightly, he was going well last year too but a shit team's poor form prevented most from seeing the effort on efforts.

Anyway, I'm totally going to be writing more in this, the Kennedy thread. You could you know, just **** off.

Hear that boys, he's winning, on the internet.

If you don't like it, feel free to put this thread on ignore. Otherwise, @Huge is free to post his love letters to Kennedy in here any time he wishes and let's be honest, Kennedy was really good last game and has been whenever he has played this season. Credit where it is due.
