THE EX Kevin Walters

I'm thinking some people need to actually watch interviews with Madge where he talks about his methods of coaching and getting players to buy in.

Ahh yes the old impressive interviewer, that kind of choice can never go wrong.

I’d suggest people actually look at his coaching record. We’ll be back here again in about 2 years.

Does anyone have concerns about how often the milkman came around before Andrew was conceived?

no offence but **** off this family bled for this club to make fun of it as a meme doesn't ride well at all for me.
Yep. Everyone needs to lay off Kevy. He's the second most successful coach the club has ever had. Watching him walk out of the Broncos club after being sacked was horrible. The last few days really are the darkest the club has seen.

It would have taken alot of guts and humility for him call for fans to not give up on the Broncos. He should be praised, thanked and celebrated as a successful coach who brought us back from the wooden spoon and took us to a grand final in three years.

Didn't we go to a GF after Ikin left?
He left in April. The old adage is that grand finals are won in the off season. Do I would say juries out in how much Ikin helped the 2023 season

let's be real anything regarding going long in the season was linked to us getting Walsh

How are you measuring success?

Kev has a lower win % than Wayne, Henjak, and Griffin.

If you’re talking top 8 finishes:

Wayne: 100%
Anthony Griffin 75%
Seibold: 50%
Henjak: 50%
Kev: 25%

I’ll never get how 2023 happened given the other 3 seasons we had under Kevvie.

I’ve got nothing but love for Kevvie. I know he loves the club and did his best but unfortunately he’s just not the guy. It would have been so beautiful if he was the guy but alas we move on and just send nothing but appreciation to Kevvie for the man he is.

how many of those options started at spoon level, let long their entire career starting at the spoon.

You can argue that he had a tougher job than the others but you can’t make a definitive statement like “Kev was our second most successful coach”

A bit more light shed in the CM article by Badel today

outside the fact he was?

He is literallly the only coach that got us to a GF that wasn't Wayne Bennett.

By making the 23 GF he already made himself the 2nd best Broncos coach in history.
