Buzz just said on 360 that the Warriors contacted Brisbane today to ask if they can speak with Kodi, and Brisbane said yes.
Buzz then went on to say that he may well have played his last game as he has a cork and might not play on Thursday night. If Kodi is out, Dearden is in.

Would be pretty stupid, they would be offering him more than he's on, and it's pretty clear, that at this stage, the broncos don't intend to renew him. If broncos threw him in to Qcup, his value would drop dramatically.

I'd say more he has been good in patches in every game. I don't think he hasn't been performing though.

i have watched him since he came to the club. His Samoan heritage means he is a great team man, but it also means he is naturally introverted. I have watched him closely and he is not comfortable barking orders at others.

Yeah the hate Milford gets in here isn't fair. Especially if you're at a game, you can see how much work he does behind the scenes t rying to get players in to position and also getting himself into position to pick up loose balls / grubbers etc.
The issue is, it doesn't come natural to him, and he has to do all of it. Nikorima, Macca and Boyd are offering basically nothing in regards to directing the team.

He does it all the time. He may not have been confortable when he was younger, but he is now and has been for a couple of years now. You can still be a great team man, be humble and still be assertive. I think saying players of a Samoan heritage are introverted is way off the mark.

what's clear is that the club don't see him has our long term halfback ... if he was happy to go back to being a super sub, i have no doubt the will renew him.

Yeah, they would renew him, would they renew him on the (reported) 450-500k that he is currently on? no, would they renew him for what the warriors would likely offer him? no.
