Kodi Nikorima has re-signed until the end of 2018.

OFFICIAL - Kodi Nikorima has resigned

Yeah baby. Big F U to the Storm.

Re: OFFICIAL - Kodi Nikorima has resigned

Why has he resigned? I though he was going to stay at the Broncos?

ha ha funny - technically he didn't re-sign either (unless he had two or more goes at signing his contract).

Re: OFFICIAL - Kodi Nikorima has resigned

Good to hear he's staying as i think he can really give us some x-factor out of dummyhalf next year.

This is good news. I really hope his game evolves. I'm not bagging him just saying he can improve.

Does this have anything to do with the other news story today?

Boom! Get the **** in!

We still have some players unsigned we could do with tying up. Personally, i'm not convinced by Kodi.

This is excellent news.

Wouldn't be surprised if they needed Reed's ~$300k to top up a few contracts. If Gillett signs in the next few days you know that's exactly how it went down.

I tend to agree.

From a sentimental stand-point, it's nice to see somebody who's been at the club for ten years sign on with his best years infront of him. However, I don't think dummy half is his position and he would have been better off in Melbourne.

Sweet, I thought he was gone for sure...hopefully the bench next season will be
14. TPJ
15. Ese Ese
16. Glenn
17. Nikorima

I still think a bench hooker is a waste, utility yes but I don't think Niko's a utility because he can only cover a couple of positions

yep. seems a good halves project for a stuart or bellamy type, surely won't see the best of him from the bench.

but at least back up halves is a non issue

I agree with BP and Wolfie - I'm yet to be convinced by him either. Not complaining we have signed him for a further two years.

But where does everyone think his best position is? For me it's either 5/8 or a super-sub off the bench...

I think he is at at his best when our middle defense is solid enough that it papers over his defensive deficiencies and lack of size... But at present it is just way to obvious when Macca is off. I liked it best when Macca shifted to lock when Niko came on.
